Everland Introduces Reusable Cups for Takeout Drinks

Everland, a major theme park in South Korea, is implementing the use of reusable cups for takeout drinks starting June 25. This initiative aims to reduce single-use plastics and is set to expand to both direct and franchise stores. In cooperation with Yongin City and the Ministry of Environment, Everland signed a voluntary agreement to promote reusable cup usage. For easy return of used cups, over 60 collection points will be established around the park. This effort is part of Everland's commitment to minimize waste and enhance environmental awareness among visitors. Caribbean Bay, Everland's water park, will implement this system starting July 1.
