Everland Becomes First Korean Theme Park to Introduce Reusable Cups

Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Corporation, is the first Korean theme park to reduce single-use items by gradually introducing reusable cups for takeaway drinks. Starting March, Everland partnered with Yongin City and the Ministry of Environment to promote reusable cups and has begun offering them at direct and partner stores, with Caribbean Bay following on July 1. Over 60 collection points have been set up around the park for easy cup returns. Everland will continue to promote this initiative via their website and social media to encourage environmental awareness among visitors.
