Seoul Enhances Parks with Barrier-Free Facilities for Wheelchair Users

Seoul has announced the completion of barrier-free facilities in Eungbong Park, located in Seongdong-gu, and Gandeme Park, in Dongdaemun-gu, to ensure easier access for wheelchair users. Improvements include entryways, walkways, guides, restrooms, and parking equipped with universal design, enhancing convenience for wheelchair users and families with young children. Fourteen parks across the city now feature such accessible designs, and Seoul plans to continue expanding these inclusive spaces.
