Korean Government Utilizes AI to Predict Wildfire Spread

The Korean Ministry of Science and ICT has selected projects that use AI-powered devices to improve urban safety and address environmental issues. Utilizing domestic AI semiconductors, the projects aim to predict and respond to wildfires and other disasters in real-time using AI CCTV and drones. These efforts are part of a larger initiative to integrate on-device AI technology into local communities over the next two years with significant government funding.
