A new musical titled 'Paradise', set during one of the most tumultuous periods in modern Korean history (1945-1950), will premiere in Seoul on July 15th. The production tells the story of young Koreans who dreamt of independence under different ideologies during the late Japanese occupation of Korea. The story highlights the struggles of a young woman named Sukhee (also known as Esther) and her conflicts between family, faith, and country. Acknowledged for its potential and creativity, 'Paradise' was awarded in various categories before its full development and will be showcased until October 12th at Dream Theater in Seoul.
