Pohang City in South Korea cancelled key events of the Pohang International Fireworks Festival on July 21 due to a heavy rain warning. Originally, the festival planned to host an international fireworks show, a drone light show, and a grand finale at Hyungsangang Sports Park. However, the city decided to cancel these events due to heavy rainfall, which makes it challenging to operate drones or ignite fireworks. The Korea Meteorological Administration issued a heavy rain advisory for Pohang and nearby areas, indicating rainfall exceeding 60mm in 3 hours or 110mm in 12 hours.
