Gangwon Province's beaches along the East coast are gradually opening for the summer season, starting with Goseong Ayajin Beach. A total of 86 beaches will be open until August 31, featuring attractions like 'Media Art' shows at Sokcho Beach and beach yoga at Yangyang Naksan Beach. To combat excessive pricing (known as 'overpricing'), a QR code system for reporting unfair charges will be introduced. This initiative aims to improve trust and increase visitor satisfaction at tourism spots. Additionally, themed beaches like Gangneung Jumunjin's 'camping beer beach' and Samcheok's family-friendly facilities aim to enhance the summer experience for tourists.
