The 19th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) opens on June 21 at the Kolon Outdoor Music Hall. The event features a musical gala concert hosted by actor Kwon Hyuk-soo and musical actress Hong Ji-min. Performances include students from Dankook University's musical department and past DIMF Musical Star winners. Highlights include performances from musicals such as 'Notre Dame de Paris' and 'Hadestown.' A sneak peek of the new musical 'Seol Gong-chan,' a collaboration between DIMF and Daegu Cultural Arts Center, will also be presented. Musical theater fans can look forward to a special performance by Choi Jung-won and Hong Ji-min from the upcoming production of 'Mamma Mia!' as they perform 'Dancing Queen.'
