Compose Coffee Raises Iced Americano Prices Amid Rising Bean Costs

Compose Coffee announced a price increase for its Iced Americano and Decaffeinated Iced Americano from 1500 KRW to 1800 KRW and from 2500 KRW to 2800 KRW, respectively, effective from the 13th. This is the first price rise since the brand's launch in 2014. The company cites rising costs of coffee beans, labor, logistics, and raw materials as reasons. Recently, prices of Arabica beans surged to a record high of $8,330 per ton. Other coffee chains like Starbucks Korea and Hollys have also increased their prices.
