British sculptor Antony Gormley's first permanent exhibition space is unveiled at Museum SAN in Wonju. The exhibition, done in collaboration with architect Tadao Ando, features 48 pieces, making it the largest of its kind in Korea. The unique dome-shaped space, 'Ground', is meant to encourage visitors to meditate on the inner voices as the sculptures come to life through their presence and interaction. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the role of the body and embrace the boundaries of physical forms. Through artworks like 'Orbit Field II', the exhibition offers a narrative in silence, allowing the audience to become one with the space.
