Leeum Museum in Seoul is hosting a program titled 'Beyond the Senses 2025,' featuring various workshops and forums until September. This initiative explores media interpretation through different senses like touch, hearing, and sight. On June 20 and 22, media artist Song Ye-seul will conduct a tactile interaction workshop, 'The Whisper of the Black Box,' where participants communicate through tactile sensors instead of words. From July to August, another workshop called 'Seeing Beyond Sight' will explore exhibition appreciation methods for visually impaired audiences, proposing new ways beyond visual-centric experiences. In September, outcomes from the workshops will be applied in actual exhibitions. An international forum to share and expand these explorations will occur in late September. Originally intended for children with hearing impairments, this program now includes workshops, lectures, forums, and publications for participants with different sensory and physical conditions.
