The French musical 'Notre Dame de Paris' will celebrate its 20th anniversary with performances at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts (Seoul's major cultural venue) from September 3 to 27. Originally debuted in Korea in 2005 with immense popularity, it has since drawn over 1.1 million viewers. This year's show features veteran actor Daniel Lavoie, known for his iconic role as Frollo, marking potentially his last appearance in Korea. Based on Victor Hugo's novel, the musical presents a tragic tale of love, societal critique, and architectural beauty, captivating audiences worldwide with translations in 9 languages and performances in 30 countries.
