The Korea Association of Organists is celebrating its 41st anniversary with the '41st National Organist Competition' from October 21st to 24th. This annual event features masterclasses, seminars, and concerts. This year, Matthias Neumann, a specialist in North German organ music and a prizewinner of the Bach Competition, is invited to conduct a masterclass at Ewha Womans University and give a lecture on North German Organ School at Namdaemun Church. The event also marks the 150th birth anniversary of Albert Schweitzer, highlighting his accomplishments as a renowned organist. Neumann will conclude the event with a pipe organ recital. The organ is noted for its long history and central role in Christian worship music.
