A new forest wellness complex has opened in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk, located at the foot of Mt. Munsu. Spanning 100 hectares, this multi-functional site combines leisure, therapy, and lodging facilities. The complex is divided into four zones: the central zone, experience and education zone, forest healing zone, and natural recreation area (휴양림). Key attractions include a forest healing center offering professional programs, nature-friendly play areas for children, and themed healing spaces like meditation and yoga forests. The complex aims to leverage the scientifically proven healing effects of forests to enhance mental and physical well-being. It offers a tranquil escape into nature with accommodations and outdoor amenities like a barbeque area and open-air stage.
