Observation Area for Yellowhorn Tree Flowers in Ulsan

The city of Ulsan and the Taehwagang Ecotourism Association have opened an observation area for yellowhorn tree flowers (Mokamju Tree) in front of the southeastern office of Taehwa Pavilion from June 16 to July 6. The observation area is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless it rains. A natural environment interpreter will provide information on the ecological significance of the yellowhorn tree cluster at Taehwa Pavilion. Visitors can take photos with the flowers as a backdrop and create badges using the flower images. The 18 yellowhorn trees, rare species originating in China, were designated as protected trees by the Jung-gu Office in November 2009. Known for their resilience to sea water and wind, they thrive in harsh conditions such as cliffs and dry areas.
