The Gangnam Symphony Orchestra is set to hold its 175th Gangnam Matinee Concert on November 10th at the Jangcheon Hall of the Kwanglim Arts Center in Seoul. This concert, designed to broaden the appeal of classical music, is presented by the Gangnam Foundation for Arts & Culture and will be hosted by pianist Kim Jeong-won as part of the 'Morning Music Garden' series. The event features conductor Lee Tam-gu and violinist Kim Dong-hyun, who gained acclaim by achieving third place in the violin category at the 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition. The performance will include lively and energetic pieces such as Rossini's 'The Italian Girl in Algiers,' followed by works from Saint-Saëns, Ravel, and Mendelssohn.
