Gyeongnam Province, along with the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation, hosted a summer tourism promotion event on June 13-14 at the Haiker Ground outdoor venue at Cheonggyecheon, Seoul. Themed 'Rest, Breathe Summer in Gyeongnam,' the pop-up exhibition featured booths from ten regions including Changwon and Tongyeong, promoting local tourist attractions and summer retreats. Highlights included a K-pop Gayageum (traditional Korean string instrument) trio performance. Visitors enjoyed interactive events with prizes such as tourism souvenirs. Officials emphasized their commitment to providing safe and enjoyable vacation experiences in Gyeongnam, famous for its scenic areas and activities like rafting and green tea fields.
