South Korea will host its first full-length performance of Sergei Prokofiev's opera 'The Love for Three Oranges' from October 26 to 29 at the Seoul Arts Center Opera Theater. Prokofiev, a prominent Soviet composer, initially wrote the opera in Russian, but due to language barriers, it was later adapted to French. The story is about a prince cursed to fall in love with three oranges, embarking on an adventure to overcome the curse and find true love. Directed by Swiss director Lorenzo Fioroni, the production features imaginative stage design inspired by Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. It is performed in French to accommodate the local artists' preferences.
