The Cultural Communication Forum hosted in Seoul aims to showcase sustainable aspects of Korean culture amid the global popularity of the Korean Wave. Mafo Laure, a French national, performed traditional Korean pansori music. Organized by Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI), the event titled "Sustainable K-Style" featured 12 presentations and videos by both Korean and international participants, highlighting lesser-known aspects of Korean culture such as horsehair craft and the concept of jeong (a communal, affectionate spirit).
Attendees included several ambassadors and corporate leaders. The forum featured contests in categories like video and presentation, focusing on sustainable K-style in various sectors like fashion and architecture. Winners included participants from China and Korea, who showcased ideas incorporating recycling, eco-fashion, and the concept of sharing to promote sustainability.
