Seoul City Hall is hosting a media art exhibition titled 'Imaginary Universe Seoul' from July 1 to September 30 in the main building's lobby. The exhibition showcases works by three young artist teams, depicting Seoul's future and imagination. Highlights include Byeon Yu-yeol's 'Seoul: Open Circuit,' merging traditional palace dancheong patterns with modern circuit images in a fractal-based video. Another work, 'Vertical Horizon: Seoul' by the 'Meonbalchi' team, uses time-lapse to explore Seoul's past, present, and future. Lastly, Cheon Ye-ji's 'X-Seoul' reimagines Seoul's urban structure using a unique visual language reminiscent of X-ray images. The exhibition runs daily during media wall hours with short screenings every hour.
