Korea Forest Service Announces '100 Great Works' of Modern Forest Literature

The Korea Forest Service has announced its selection of 100 great works of modern forest literature. This genre explores the relationship between humans and nature, using forests, trees, and plants as central themes. Experts in literature and related fields selected 100 works from 1,039 recommendations, divided into four categories: poetry, children's literature, essays, and novels. The initiative includes events and exhibitions to showcase these works, with notable gatherings in Ulleung and the Korean Children's Forest Education Association. The selected works are available on the Korea Forest Service website.
