Seongdong-gu's Dumopo Musical Festival to Celebrate Korean History and Culture

Seongdong-gu in Seoul will host the '2025 Dumopo Musical Festival' on October 14, at the Han River Park near Oksu Interchange. The festival celebrates 'Knock, Gather, Embrace' with cultural and artistic performances at the historical site, Dumopo, a Joseon-era port. A historical reenactment of the 'Dumopo Departure Ceremony' from 1419, where King Sejong sent generals to conquer Tsushima (Daemado), will mark the opening. The event features top musical actors, various experiential booths, an art market, and food trucks. Attendees with eco-friendly tumblers will receive free beverages made with Arisu (Seoul's city water).
