Musinsa, a leading Korean online fashion retailer, has announced its ambitious goal to achieve a global transaction volume of 3 trillion won (approximately $2.25 billion) by 2030. At the 'Global Partners Day' event in Seoul, CEO Park Jun-mo revealed strategies to focus on the Asian market and support the expansion of K-fashion brands internationally. While K-pop and K-dramas gain global traction, K-fashion still lacks significant overseas success, a gap Musinsa aims to fill by creating opportunities for these brands. The company's plans include partnerships with local allies, expansion of online and offline presence in countries like Japan, USA, and Canada, and the introduction of fulfillment services to aid local brands. Musinsa's global store, launched in 2022, has seen significant growth, particularly in Japan, signaling a promising future for K-fashion's international endeavors.
