The New Year concert titled 'Please Take Care of Us This Year Too' was held on February 2nd at the Chiak Gymnasium in Wonju, South Korea. Organized by the Wonju Cultural Foundation, the event aimed to bring joy and hope to citizens as they start the new year. The program featured a musical about Min Geung-ho, a historical figure and leader of the Righteous Army who resisted Japanese colonial rule, and performances by well-known artists such as Tei, Kang San-ae, and Park Ji-hyun. There were also performances by the First Place, winners of the 2024 Wonju Dancing Carnival, and the local music group Music Factory. The CEO of the foundation, Park Chang-ho, emphasized creating a diverse program for people of all ages to enjoy, encouraging attendees to leave worries behind and embrace the year with warmth and happiness.
