Japanese modern artist Tatsuo Miyajima explores the secrets of the universe using LED numbers. His art showcases quantum mechanics principles such as uncertainty and possibility through unpredictable operation timings of LED devices. The exhibition, 'Folding Cosmos,' runs until June 28 in Seoul's Gallery Baton. Miyajima's work uses the absence of zero in number sequences to symbolize interconnectedness and emptiness or 'Kū,' a Buddhist concept. The exhibition includes interactive mirrors highlighting the observer's role, resonating with quantum mechanics where the observer influences reality. Miyajima's art reflects the continuous, changing flow of time and the universe, connecting it symbolically with Buddhist ideas and ancient Mayan cycles.
