Korean musical 'Maybe Happyending' won six major categories at the 78th Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Director. The work, co-created by Korean playwright Park Chon-hyu and American composer Will Aronson, marks a historical achievement for K-Musicals on Broadway. Set in a near-future Seoul, it tells the story of two helper robots discovering love. Developed in both Korean and English, the musical initially premiered in Seoul before opening in New York. It's currently an open-run performance at the Belasco Theatre. Park Chon-hyu, the first Korean Tony winner, expressed gratitude for Broadway's acceptance and emphasized the blend of Korean indie pop and traditional Broadway influences.
