First Foreign Passport Tour Completer in Korea: Turkish National Achieves Milestone

The first foreign participant to complete the 'National Heritage Passport Tour' program in Korea is Kuvvet Ayse from Turkey. The program requires visiting 76 national heritage sites across the country. It started in May 2023 and has distributed around 260,000 passports. Despite its popularity among locals, with 395 Korean completers, Ayse is the first non-Korean to achieve this feat. She started her journey from Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and completed it in 60 days, motivated by her interest in Korean culture and heritage. The National Heritage Administration will honor her at a ceremony on June 10.
