Korean musical 'Maybe Happy Ending' received Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Original Score. The creator, Park Chun-hyu, expressed gratitude to the Broadway community for their acceptance. Featuring a fusion of Korean indie pop, American jazz, and traditional Broadway, the musical follows robots Oliver and Claire who fall in love. After its debut in a small Korean theater in 2016, it was adapted into an English version and premiered in New York's Broadway. This marks the first time a Korean musical has won a Tony Award after making its way to Broadway.
