Koreasundang has launched an eco-friendly version of its 'Makgeolli', a traditional Korean rice wine, utilizing 'Eco-labels'. These labels are made from the same PET material as the container, making it possible to recycle the bottle without removing the label. The company collaborated with SK Microworks and underwent numerous studies to achieve enhanced recyclability, safety, and convenience. Koreasundang's commitment to sustainable practices involves introducing eco-friendly packaging in the traditional liquor industry and implementing energy-efficient production methods that reduce carbon emissions.
