Small Music Festival in Gangwon's Countryside Brightens Summer Nights

The 11th Gyechon Music Festival was held from August 6 to 8 in Pyeongchang, a less-known but growing classical music festival in South Korea. Despite the pandemic, it continued through online formats and featured performances like 'Starry Night Concert' with outdoor music by local students, soprano Hye-ran Hong, and the National Chorus. Organized by the Hyundai Chung Mong-Koo Foundation, Korea National University of Arts, and Pyeongchang-gun, this festival aims to offer a comprehensive sensory experience blending nature and music.
