Korea Opera Festival Features Puccini's 'La Bohème'

The 2025 regular opera, 'La Bohème', presented by Nuova Opera Group, will be held at the Seoul Arts Center Opera House from 13th to 15th. Established in 2005, Nuova Opera Group aims to pioneer and lead Korea's opera culture. The performance, set in 19th-century Paris, depicts the lives of young artists, showcasing their struggles and aspirations for dreams and illusions. This opera, based on Henri Murger's novel 'Scènes de la Vie de Bohème', highlights art and love amidst hardships. Celebrating the 140th anniversary of Korea-Italy diplomatic relations, it promises to offer top-tier vocalists and a mesmerizing production.
