The July Festival, hosted by The House Concert, will be held at the Daehangno Artist House in Seoul, Korea from July 1st to July 31st, 2024. This year, the festival shines a spotlight on Stravinsky, a composer celebrated for breaking tradition and exploring new sounds and forms. Stravinsky's works, including piano compositions and chamber music, will be featured alongside those of other 20th century Russian composers like Shostakovich and Prokofiev. The festival will be expanded to include performances across various cities in Korea. With 237 musicians participating, including pianists, violinists, and cellists, this event offers a rich encounter with classical music, curated in house concert settings. Highlights include performances of adapted versions of Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring' and other notable pieces.
