Hwaseong City will host 'Dangseong Festa' on October 14th at the Gubongsan area in Seosin-myeon, showcasing the historical Dangseong Fortress (designated as a cultural heritage site) located at Gubongsan Mountain. Historically important as a maritime trading port connecting Korea's West Coast to China's Shandong Peninsula during the Three Kingdoms Period (57 BC–668 AD), the festival offers experiences like 'Adventure Dangseong,' a trade market selling international-themed items and local goods, and activities like traditional costume experiences and fusion music performances combining classical and Korean traditional music.
