Soprano Chu Joo-hyun will hold a recital on November 9 at the Youngsan Art Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Chu, who studied vocal music at Ewha Womans University and Manhattan School of Music, previously debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York. Her concert will feature pieces by composers such as Richard Strauss and Piazzolla. On November 10, the Lampas Ensemble Concert will take place at the same venue, showcasing works by composers like Gershwin and Saint-Saëns. "Lampas" meaning "light" in Greek, aims to bring light to society through music. Both concerts feature accomplished musicians, many of whom have pursued studies in the U.S. and Europe.
