Joshua Bell, a world-renowned violinist and conductor, is known for his versatile collaborations across different music genres including jazz and crossover. Bell, who began playing the violin at the age of four and had his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra at age fourteen, serves as the music director for the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, a position he will hold until 2028. He has worked with artists like soprano Renée Fleming and jazz pianist Chick Corea. Bell plays the 1713 Huberman Stradivarius violin, an instrument valued at around $4 million at the time of purchase in 2001.
