Conductor Chung Myung-whun, recently appointed music director of Italy's prestigious La Scala Theatre, will perform as a pianist alongside renowned Korean classical musicians in a chamber music concert named 'Chung Myung-whun and Virtuosi' on July 3 at Seoul Arts Center's Concert Hall. The event reflects Chung's philosophy of 'human, musician, Korean,' featuring works from Beethoven to contemporary composers. Additionally, Chung will take up the role of music director at La Scala Theatre from 2027, while managing artistic responsibilities at Busan's concert venues.
