Cathay Pacific's 'The Bridge' Lounge in Hong Kong - A Premier ExperienceCreatrip Team
a year ago
Cathay Pacific has unveiled 'The Bridge', a newly refurbished lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, hailed for its suite-like design among elite lounges. Located near gate 35 at Terminal 1, the lounge offers human-centered design with rich interiors drawing inspiration from luxurious living spaces featuring cherry wood, black granite, and travertine stone. The entrance is marked by a biometric check-in system (allowing access via biological data), demonstrating efficiency and safety.
The Bridge accommodates different traveler needs with spaces like a Family Corner, an Asian snack bar, and dedicated meeting rooms for business customers. The 'Diamond Suite', exclusive to first-class passengers and diamond members, offers ultimate privacy and flexible convenience. Culinary offerings include an upgraded 'Noodle Bar' serving Hong Kong and traditional Chinese dishes alongside fusion foods.
The Nook provides small plates with diverse Asian flavors like baos, pancakes, and steamed rolls, while the Food Hall offers fresh pastries, salads, and global baked goods. A 'Long Bar' with runway views serves cocktails, coffee, and champagne crafted by professionals. The lounge incorporates exclusive features such as the bespoke 'Solo Chair' (integrates lights and power outlets), and signature fragrances enhancing brand identity.
Additionally, Cathay Pacific plans to renew 'The Wing, First' and 'The Wing, Business' lounges, aiming for service innovation across global hubs like Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York within two years. The airline currently operates solo suites on the Hong Kong-Beijing route, offering a suite experience in the sky.
