Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Announces '3rd Seoul Playwriting Award'

The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture has announced the 3rd Seoul Playwriting Award to discover exceptional unpublished plays and contribute to the theater ecosystem. Open to writers residing or based in Seoul, submissions will be accepted online from September 1 to 15. The award features a top prize of 30 million KRW (about 23,000 USD), the highest for a single category in Korean playwriting competitions. Unlike previous years, performance production is not part of the award process. The competition aims to motivate both established and emerging playwrights to participate with their original works.
