A report by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) reveals that South Koreans spent approximately 83 trillion Won on fashion products over the past year. Casual wear accounts for 27% of this expenditure, with a notable preference for online shopping, surpassing offline stores. People in their 50s are the biggest contributors to fashion spending, followed by those in their 40s and 30s. Seasonal analysis shows higher spending during the fall and winter months compared to spring and summer. Younger generations increasingly use social media to acquire fashion information.
