South Jeolla Province in South Korea, in collaboration with Japanese travel agency Sanjin Travel and South Korea's Namhae Tourism, recently hosted a culinary tour product for around 40 Japanese tourists. The tour, held in anticipation of the 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Expo, took place in Suncheon, Gangjin, and Goheung, featuring local delicacies such as traditional Korean set meals and seafood dishes. Activities also included tea experiences in Gangjin, tours of a brewery in Yeosu, and visits to local agricultural and seafood product exhibition halls. The province plans to offer seasonal travel products, including experiences related to the upcoming gourmet expo and winter traditional sauce-making tours.
