The National Namdo Gugak Center will hold a cultural music concert titled 'Music with Commentary' at the Okjugol Creative Center in Jindo, South Korea on November 11th. The event aims to deepen understanding of traditional Korean music, known as "gugak," by integrating humanities and music through lecture-style performances. Music critic Song Hyun-min will discuss the cultural significance of Jindo through its traditional music. Performances will include renowned traditional musicians playing instruments like the "danso" (a Korean bamboo flute) and "daegeum" by musicians who were part of the National Gugak Center. Admission is free.
