Recent research by Yanolja found that travel packages to Busan, South Korea, received higher satisfaction ratings from Western tourists compared to Tokyo, Japan. The study analyzed data from TripAdvisor regarding travel packages in major East Asian cities. Despite Busan having fewer tourism products, its average satisfaction rating was 4.90 out of 5, just behind Beijing's 4.91. The positive feedback is attributed to the unique cultural experiences and reasonable pricing in Busan, including attractions like Gamcheon Culture Village. This highlights the importance of delivering memorable, high-quality experiences, even in premium price brackets, for boosting the perceived value of tourism products.
