The 2025 Sushi King Competition showcased talented chefs, including Michelin 3-star chef Nakamura Kouji from Gangnam, Seoul, and famous Korean chef Ahn Yoo-seong. Held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju, the event aimed to boost local tourism and support small businesses. A highlight was the sushi made from natural Dagumbari fish, which captivated attendees. Ahn Yoo-seong actively promotes Korean cuisine on various TV programs, aiming to elevate the competition to an international level. The competition also featured the popular pre-event 'Natural Dagumbari Sushi Gala' with renowned chef Kang Chang-geon.
