Jeju Dream Tower, a complex resort owned by Lotte Tour Development, achieved its highest-ever monthly revenue in May, with a total of 55.94 billion Korean won (approximately 41.8 million USD). This was largely driven by an increase in visitors to both its casino and hotel. Casino revenue exceeded 40 billion won for the first time, largely due to increased demand from VIP guests from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. The hotel also experienced a significant boost, with its room occupancy rate reaching a new high of 87.6% and food and beverage sales hitting record highs. As a response to increased demand, the resort is hiring 400 new employees.
