The theater group, Gile, is set to stage the play ‘Good People’ by David Lindsay-Abaire from July 11 to 27 at Daehangno Theater Joy in Seoul, South Korea. This play, acclaimed by the New York Drama Critics Circle, follows the story of Margaret, a 50-year-old single mom raising her developmentally disabled daughter, Joyce. After losing her job, Margaret seeks help from Mike, an old friend and successful doctor. However, unexpected twists reveal the complex dynamics of their past and present. The play explores themes of social class, survival, and the nature of being 'good,' blending humor and drama. Directed by Shin Myung-min, the cast includes Jeong Yoon-kyung, Lee Seung-heon, and others.
