The World Mesmerized by Chuncheon Puppet Festival's 10-Day Journey

The 24th UNIMA Congress and 2025 Chuncheon World Puppet Festival concluded successfully, attracting approximately 220,000 visitors. From artists from 21 countries showcasing 104 performances, this festival became a global platform for cultural exchange. Various programs like the Puppet Carnival and workshops were held throughout Chuncheon, transforming the city into an interactive cultural platform. Significantly, the festival coincided with the 24th UNIMA Congress attended by members from 54 countries. During the Congress, Prague was chosen as the next host city, and a new leadership was elected. This marked a significant milestone in the world of puppetry, reported with a hopeful message from Chuncheon Mayor Yuk Dong-han.
