First Shopping Mall Adopts 'Hi-Pass Parking' for Seamless Payment

Lotte World Tower and Mall in South Korea is introducing a Hi-Pass system for automated parking payments starting November 2. With the Hi-Pass device installed in vehicles, drivers can exit the parking lot without stopping as fees are automatically processed, providing a quicker and seamless experience. This initiative follows successful trials and collaborations with Lotte Innovate and Korea Expressway Corporation. The system is expected to reduce park time by up to 24 seconds per vehicle and decrease greenhouse gas emissions annually by 31,582 kg. Users with discount tickets from related facilities like Lotte Cinema or Lotte World Aquarium can register these in advance for automatic deductions via Hi-Pass.
