Busking Competition for Citizens Announced in Hongdae

Seoul will host its first citizen busking contest, "I Am a Busker", on November 21-22 at Hongdae Red Road. This open competition invites non-professional local and regional participants to perform in categories like pop music, instruments, performances, and traditional arts. The competition features 50 teams and winners will have the chance to join the "2026 Seoul Street Performance Group". Additional events include music experiences and caricature booths. Interested participants can submit a 3-minute video by November 12 and winners will be decided through expert judgment and public voting.
