The Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Tourism Organization have simplified the procedures for supporting incentive groups, attracting over 4,000 MICE tourists. Under the new system, the support payment process was streamlined from three stages to one, enhancing efficiency. This effort has significantly boosted large-scale incentive tourism post-COVID, including events like Dents' 20th Anniversary Global Forum, drawing 1,100 foreign tourists to Seoul in April. Future incentives such as 'WSB Super Trip' aim to attract 3,000 tourists by September. Additionally, the 'Plus Cities' initiative encourages international MICE groups to visit both Seoul and other regions in South Korea, strengthening inter-city collaboration and marketing. Overall, these regulatory changes aim to maintain Seoul's reputation as a leading global MICE destination.
