Hiking across Jiri Mountain from Cheonghakdong to Baekmudong covers about 17 km of scenic trails. While not a common route, this less-traveled path offers views such as Samshinbong—an iconic peak mentioned in Korean pansori (a traditional musical storytelling). The famous Seokseok azalea, blooming brightly in May, is one of the ten scenic beauties of Jiri Mountain, attracting many hikers. The journey includes crossing the challenging Hanshin Valley, known for its numerous cascading waterfalls like the prominent Ganaeso Falls, and exploring traditional lore associated with local springs like Eumyangsug.
